Where Has The Author Gone?

It’s been a hot minute since I posted anything in the blog.

Burnout is a real thing. After Poltergeist Girl being review bombed and having to deal with that (thank you petty people who lost review privileges) and then Celtic Luna taking me two extra months to publish, I decided to slow down and focus on improving my skills.

I went back to school. I graduate in May with a M.A in Creative Writing.

I’m actively writing again for several stories. My thesis project is a space opera sci-fi story.

Where did all my eBooks go?

I pulled them from Amazon. Due to Amazon using eBooks to train their AI models without my consent, and not giving me an option to opt-out, I removed them from the platform. I’m loading all the books on other platforms for you to access, including KOBO.

I also removed my lone audio book from Audible because of their unfair payment practices.

If you are not exclusive to Audible, your royalties are split (after Amazon’s cut) again with authors who are in the program. That’s not right.

The world seems to be burning around us, and I have found it hard to write because I’m so wound up over the injustice in the universe. But stick with me, I’m working on all the following:

Three Glass Coffins – Verse II of my fantasy series
The Drifter Alpha – A book in the Immortal Love Saga universe.
Shamrock Shakedown – Book II of Elijah Joseph Wolfe
Wolfpack Blues – Sequel to The Triple Six
Sparksong – Space Opera Science Fiction

I’m hoping to find a tracker plugin for the site (may just have to build one myself) to allow you to see how far I am on each project.

Keep believing, my lovelies!
